WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS LESSON

Instructor

Dr. Jenny Hobson

PT, DPT, MTC, CFC, CMTPT. Dr. Jenny Flage Hobson is a European-trained physical therapist. She has traveled the world in search of the best cures and solutions for health. She is one of a select few to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Mariano Rocabado, a leading cranio-facial, TMJ, neck and spine rehabilitation expert. Dr. Rocabado has entrusted Dr. Hobson with his course materials and she is teaching his classes in the US to dentists and physical therapists. Always eager to refine and expand her techniques, Dr. Hobson is dedicated to finding solutions to restore head, neck and jaw mechanics, as well as the tongue and its functions as related to the proper development of the mouth, teeth and throat.

ABOUT THIS COURSE: SAFETY

This breathing clinic and its exercises are suitable for most people, but there are a number of conditions that are not suitable for this training.

These conditions are:

Group 1: Those who have the following, can participate in the breathing clinic, but should have a very gentle air shortage only. This means you should avoid performing these or only do them with a gentle and short breath holds for the following exercises: Decongest the Nose exercise and the Breath Holding when Walking, Sitting or Steps exercise. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your medical doctor for guidance.

  • Epilepsy
  • Schizophrenia
  • Any heart problems in the past 6 months
  • Arterial aneurysm
  • Brain tumor
  • Kidney disease
  • Unstable blood pressure
  • Chest pains or pain in the heart region
  • Type 1 Diabetes
  • Current cancer treatments
  • Sickle cell anemia
  • Uncontrolled hyperthyroidism


Group 2: This group should never have an air shortage more than what you feel during a gentle walk. You will be able to achieve this with the reduced breathing exercises and also the exercise to decrease anxiety/wheezing or a coughing attach.

  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Severe asthmatics
  • Severe emphysema
  • Severe COPD
  • Pregnant women in their 1st trimester
  • Anxiety/depression
  • Migraine sufferers
