This breathing clinic and its exercises are suitable for most people, but there are a number of conditions that are not suitable for this training.

These conditions are:

Group 1: Those who have the following, can participate in the breathing clinic, but should have a very gentle air shortage only. This means you should avoid performing these or only do them with a gentle and short breath holds for the following exercises: Decongest the Nose exercise and the Breath Holding when Walking, Sitting or Steps exercise. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your medical doctor for guidance.

  • Epilepsy
  • Schizophrenia
  • Any heart problems in the past 6 months
  • Arterial aneurysm
  • Brain tumor
  • Kidney disease
  • Unstable blood pressure
  • Chest pains or pain in the heart region
  • Type 1 Diabetes
  • Current cancer treatments
  • Sickle cell anemia
  • Uncontrolled hyperthyroidism

Group 2: This group should never have an air shortage more than what you feel during a gentle walk. You will be able to achieve this with the reduced breathing exercises and also the exercise to decrease anxiety/wheezing or a coughing attach.

  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Severe asthmatics
  • Severe emphysema
  • Severe COPD
  • Pregnant women in their 1st trimester
  • Anxiety/depression
  • Migraine sufferers

With either group 1 or 2 symptoms or diagnosis', you are better off working one-on-one with us. If you are outside of Chicago, you can find a local practitioner at
